Can you freeze shrimp that was already thawed & cooked from the supermarket?

I bought shrimp in the supermarket that was alread thawed and ready to eat. I didn't finish it all so I put the rest in the freezer, and now I want to thaw the rest and cook with them tonight. Is that ok? Or should I throw them away?
