Poll : when asking a question?

It's rare that I ask a question, but when I do it's about something I can't find any useful info on myself, or an explanation I've heard and not sure of...it doesn't matter who answers it as long as its to the point. Because my questions are so point specific I usually only get four or five answers...quantity doesn't matter, it's quality.
