How to lay down my sleeping son?

My little guy just turned 3 months this week. At night I usually hold him and feed him a bottle until he falls asleep. I can then lay him down and he will occasionally remain asleep. The problem is at his 2 am feeding. He wakes up like clock work at 2 am and wants a bottle. I feed him, burp him, and then try to lay him back down. He will then wake up fully and start to fuss and cry. I always end up having to hold him and end up co-sleeping with him for the rest of the night. I love the snuggle time, but can't get any 'good' sleep while co-sleeping. What is the best way to lay him down in is crib so that he will stay asleep. He hates to be swaddled, always has. Please help I'm soo tired.
